Tigre, a perfect blend of high pile weaving and Soumak embroidery, acquires from the former the full and substantial texture of the fleece, and from the latter the weave that creates the design and provides strength and three-dimensionality to the details of the rug. The choice of a thicker thread and a braided embroidery workmanship gives a further peculiarity that embellishes the entire rug, making it one of a kind. Designed in Italy and hand knotted in Pakistan with the very precious Ghazni wool, Tigre finds its maximum expression in the use of shades of color that create natural and intense variegations, giving the rug a refined and vaguely ethnic style.
